Now that we have our first call for winter weather, it's time many of us start looking for new ideas to keep our kids entertained indoors. Check out this list and see if it gives you any new ideas.
❄️ Build a fort and have a sleepover. (Grab all the pillows and blankets and make your biggest and best fort ever. Let the kids sleep in it overnight. They will have a blast!)
❄️ Create your own new recipe as a family or make a recipe you haven't cooked before.
❄️ Family game day/night is always a win.
❄️ Make your own indoor scavenger hunt with fun clues with a special surprise at the end.
❄️ Family movie night. Add in some popcorn and maybe try adding something new to spice up your movie night treat.
❄️ Set up a hot chocolate bar. (Think marshmallows, sprinkles, whipped cream.)
❄️ Bath time with bathing suits and glow sticks. (Let the kids put on their bathing suits, grab their goggles, and hop in the tub. Turn off the lights and add some glow sticks for some extra fun. Even add music and sing along while you watch your kids enjoy their "indoor pool". Don't forget the bubbles!)
❄️ Have your own cooking/baking competition. (Let your kids make their own creation in the kitchen and judge the results as a family. Make a silly trophy for the winner. Each time you play you can pass it along to the winner.)
❄️ Family craft time. (Let your kids make up a craft idea and have them instruct you on how to do it.)
❄️ Let your kids perform for you. (If your kids are anything like mine, they love for you to watch them sing, dance, create, act, play instruments, put on shows, and much more. Let them dress up and be their audience.)
