Hours and Schedule
Christmas Village in Baltimore will be open from Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024, to Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, 2024. As per its yearly tradition, the authentic German Christmas market will be available for a Preview Weekend on November 23rd and 24th. The market will be open from Friday to Saturday between 12:00pm and 9:00pm and from Sunday to Thursday between 12:00pm and 8:00pm. On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve, the market will be open from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Please note that the Christmas Village will be closed on November 25th, 26th, 27th and December 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th.
Admission
Admission to the outdoor area, along the Inner Harbor promenade, around the magnificent Pyramid, Carousel and Ferris Wheel, is always no charge. The large heated tent is no charge on the first weekend for the preview (November 23th and 24th) and on ALL weekdays! For all remaining weekend days, a Season Pass is for sale for $5, which gives weekend access to the heated festival tent and nearly 30 vendors, including the famous German ornament vendor Käthe Wohlfahrt, the main stage, The Hofbräu Beer Garden, and so much more. The pass is valid for the entire holiday season of 2024. Children under 18 are no charge every single day the Village is open.

Are you looking for parking close to the Inner Harbor or Downtown Baltimore? We have an exclusive parking deal for Christmas Village visitors!
Enjoy convenient all-day parking at Harbor Court Garage (30 E Lee Street, Baltimore) for only $15! Simply pull a ticket when you enter the garage, then stop by the Information Booth inside the heated tent at Christmas Village to receive your parking sticker. When it's time to pay, scan both codes on your ticket for the discounted rate.

Christmas Village Carousel
The Christmas Village Carousel invites visitors of all ages to hop on for a magical ride with its charming reindeer and horses. Positioned between the cozy, heated festival tent and the harbor, the carousel makes full use of West Shore Park’s beautiful setting. It enhances the newly designed layout and expanded food court, giving visitors more room to explore and enjoy. For safety, children under 42" must ride with a responsible, paying adult. The carousel operates during regular market hours, so be sure to stop by for a fun and festive experience!
Ferris Wheel
The beloved 65-foot-tall Expo Wheel, which dazzled visitors in 2023, is back for the entire season! Its vibrant lights will once again brighten the Inner Harbor, offering a stunning bird’s-eye view of the festive holiday action across the district. After your ride, don’t miss the chance to grab a delicious funnel cake from the nearby stand. And while you're there, be sure to explore the exciting new vendors at our extended location at the Bicentennial Plaza. For safety, children under 54” must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult. The Ferris Wheel will be open during all market hours, so make sure to take a spin!

December 9th and 10th – Family Weekend
Christmas Village is a family event! To embrace the love for families of Charm City, there will be a fun-filled weekend of activities for kids, including Potato Sack Races, Cornhole, and Egg and Spoon Races on Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Furthermore, enjoy a performance of "The Nutcracker" by the White Marsh Ballet Academy at 1:00pm on Saturday inside the tent followed by the Baltimore School of Rock from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Snap a picture with the mascot Gingy and take a ride on the carousel.
New surprises for 2024 will include:
* Christmas Village is expanding like never before! For the first time, the market will stretch beyond the Inner Harbor Visitor Center, with now over 75 vendors and creating the largest footprint in Christmas Village history.
* Get ready to experience a new level of "Wunder" (wonder) at the Village in 2024! This year, the Winter Wunder Bar is serving up an even bigger selection of cocktails and new mocktails, perfect for staying refreshed as you explore the market. Enjoy the scenic views with plenty of new outdoor seating areas!
* Christmas Village is excited to b-more vegan: Christmas Village is thrilled to announce that the Vegan Bratwurst is now a permanent addition to the full-time menu! It will be cooked separately from the meat offerings to ensure best quality and taste. Visitors can now enjoy this plant based option any day of the week at the “Best of Wurst” booth inside the heated tent.
* New on the menu: the Charm City Street Corn booth will feature fresh fire-roasted corn on the cob with a variety of seasonings, including a local favorite with Old Bay seasoning for a Baltimore twist. Visitors can also replace butter with coconut oil to make it vegan-friendly.
* For the first time ever, Christmas Village is happy to announce a presenting sponsor for the season: Chase Bank. Special perks await Chase debit and credit cardholders at Christmas Village! * Brighten up your holiday photos with the brand-new Ornament Light Arch! Standing 8 feet tall, this dazzling addition brings more festive light displays to Christmas Village, creating a warm, cheerful glow and a perfect holiday photo spot for visitors of all ages.
* Christmas Village is thrilled to partner with Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees, bringing a showcase of decorated holiday trees to the Inner Harbor. From December 4 through Christmas Eve, visitors can stop by the Baltimore Visitor Center to view 12 beautifully decorated trees and vote for their favorite. This partnership brings the spirit of the season to a new, scenic setting and supports Kennedy Krieger Institute’s commitment to improving the lives of children and families.
* New: Glühwein Flights – available on Groupon or for weekday purchase at the Glühwein Pyramid, visitors can sample sample four authentic mulled wines imported from the renowned Nürnberger Gerstacker for a taste of German tradition: Traditional Red, Cherry, Blueberry and the winter special, Baked Apple.
* Hang a wish on the "Make a Wish" wall at the Information Booth inside the heated tent and help raise money for charity. All proceeds from the Wish Wall will go directly to a NEW 2024 charity with Baltimore Hunger Project, an organization dedicated to eliminating weekend childhood hunger by providing food packages to children in need in Baltimore. Their mission is to ensure that no child goes hungry over the weekend, allowing them to return to school ready to learn and thrive.
