Enchant Christmas at Nationals Park: 2021 Review

By Danyelle J December 21, 2021

Christmas needs your help!

This sets the tone as you go through a magical maze of light displays to find the toys that a mischievous Elf has lost. By finding all eight toys, among light displays, you are able to help Santa deliver Christmas.

My daughter’s eyes lit up the moment she saw the first lights! It was a perfect evening for our family. There were plenty of activities and a lot of space for everyone. There were bright and beautiful lights everywhere. As we walked through the maze, we encountered many interactive displays that allowed us to be a part of the display versus just taking a picture with it. For example, for the toy rocking horse lights display, my children were able to actually sit on the horse instead of just taking a picture next to it! Finding those toys was a lot of fun for the kids. We were in the maze for approx. 2 hours - finding the toys and taking photos. (There are lots of photo ops!)

After getting lost in the gorgeous dream of a maze, we were able to finally see Santa himself. We waited anxiously and the line moved smoothly. When it was our turn, my children did not hold back their excitement! The area was decorated as the North Pole, professional photographers on hand. They were able to sit with a clear-masked Santa and chatted for a few moments. After we left Santa, we visited Mrs. Claus! She was as bright and beautiful as the lights. She was reading a story next to a play area for the smaller children. After our turn with Mrs. Claus, we played for a few minutes. Meeting Santa and Mrs Claus was FREE!

Additional Highlights:

The drinks, cleverly placed in containers shaped as lightbulbs, actually lit up! There were even bright colorful lights in the cotton candy! My family is a bunch of foodies - so we loved how we could "Enchant" our favorite treats! My favorites were the Enchanted vodka drink (that comes in a souvenir light bulb) and the Enchanted hot chocolate (topped with a miniature gingerbread house). There were also plenty of food options in the stands and in the market.

Speaking of the Christmas market, you can grab customized gifts for the whole family from local vendors. I love supporting locals during this time of year.

My children loved dancing on the interactive lights on the dance floor. It wasn’t just parents with children dancing... there were teenagers, young adults and even a few grandparents!

After we left, the children could not stop talking about how much fun they had. It's amazing to me how Enchant made this baseball stadium Christmas Headquarters! I hope Enchant comes back next year because I would love to continue this a tradition! No matter the age, Enchant Christmas will bring joy to all.

Now through January 2nd!
