By Danyelle J November 9, 2019

Kennedy Krieger's Festival of Trees is the best way to kick off the Christmas season in Baltimore. Here is Macaroni Kid South Baltimore's TOP 5 Things to Do at Kennedy Krieger's Festival of Trees

1. Find your favorite Christmas Tree

Kennedy Krieger's Festival of Trees has over 800 decorate themed Christmas Trees! Walk around and take pictures with and of your favorite Christmas tree. Children love seeing their favorite cartoon show, toys, or food theme trees. Easy Holiday photos! There is also decorated wreaths and gingerbread houses. (FREE)

2. SantaLand

SantaLand is Santa's home at Festival of Trees! There is carnival games, crafts, and rides that can be found in SantaLand for a small fee. My advice is to purchase the $10 wristband to save money!  Some of the free activities in SantaLand includes pictures with Santa, writing letters to Santa, and a coloring station. ($$/FREE)

3. Local Business/Merchants

Shop Local! There will be plenty of local business/merchants selling holiday items and food. Bring cash and  credit card will be accepted. Great thing about shopping local is that it helps local families! WIN-WIN

4. Holiday Entertainment

Christmas songs is my TOP music choice! Festival of Trees has entertainment from musical bands to comedy ! Also lots of local dance schools with be performing. Click here to see performers schedules.

5. Train garden

All children love watching trains.  Take a break and stop by and see Festival of Trees magical train garden set up!
